    Eastwood Guitars is opening a new location, slated to become our headquarters, in Nashville Tennessee in September of this year. We’re looking for full-time guitar QC & Adjuster technicians to work on-site in Nashville. 

    The QC & Adjuster position for Eastwood Guitars ensures that our products meet the standards and playability that our customers expect from a new instrument. This role involves but is not limited to:

    • Inspecting Eastwood Guitars and other affiliate brand products 
    • Setting up each instrument to Eastwood Guitars specifications and preparing them for shipping
    • Performing corrective work such as fret-levelling, cutting nut slots, correcting finish flaws, re-stringing, and electronics work/soldering
    • Play testing each instrument
    • Performing warranty repairs on returned instruments
    • Answering customer service emails concerning instruments
    • Entering information into Eastwood systems 
    • Assisting with general warehouse duties including unloading/loading shipments, ensuring products are safely stored in the correct location
    • Assisting with visitors in the on-site Eastwood Guitars showroom 
    • Keeping the QC area clean & tidy 

    Required skills/experience:

    • Ability to play guitar, bass guitar (or other stringed instruments such as tenor guitar, mandolin, banjo etc) to effectively play test products
    • Understanding of stringed instrument maintenance/repair & basic understanding of guitar electronics 
    • Be organized and able to retain information on a large portfolio of products
    • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Have excellent time management skills and be able to work without supervision
    • Must be able to handle/lift guitars/products and stand throughout the day

    Though full training will be provided for the role, the ideal candidate would possess the following qualities (These are not required, though they would be desirable):

    • Knowledge of Eastwood Guitars and affiliate brand products 
    • 3-5 years guitar playing ability 
    • Keeps up to date with guitar products and MI trends
    • Knowledge of vintage guitars/instruments, amplifiers, effects pedals and accessories
    • Ability to use systems and communication tools such as Shopify, Front,  Slack, Excel etc
