Baritone guitars are a great instrument to have in the studio or at home - offering a deeper tone than standard guitars. The Eastwood Sidejack Baritone DLX is a superb choice if you dig that Mosrite-style look. From Spaghetti-Western style sounds to eerie Twin Peaks-esque sounds, it's a BARITONE guitar that'll take you there... and this could be the one for you.
About the Sidejack Series:
The SIDEJACK series are based on the 1960’s MOSRITE. Mosrite guitars were made in USA and began gaining in popularity in the early 1960’s with the help of The Ventures. Its distinctive shape features a reversed-Stratocaster look. The Sidejack is available in three different models.

I love this Sidejack Baritone DLX - Sunburst. Right out of the box, the thing played great and was even darn close to being in tune. I have a bunch of guitars, and I do almost all of my own guitar maintenance, repair, and set-up. I haven't felt the need to do anything to this guitar apart from play it and look at it. I can't get over how well it plays, how great it sounds (both clean and dirty), how well it stays in tune (even when I use the vibrato arm), how clean the fit and finish are, and just how freakin' good it looks (the sunburst finish is really sharp and makes a great looking line along the signature Sidejack carve on top. The only slightly negative thing I have to say about it is that the vibrato arm is VERY subtle--far more subtle than a Bigsby or even a Les Trem. I don't happen to mind that on this guitar; however, it could be disappointing to someone who is looking for more color out of the bar. I got mine during a flash sale, so the value of this baritone is off the charts. I'm not sure why I waited so long to get a baritone, but I'm glad I did, because I wound up getting this one, and this guitar is fantastic. I couldn't be happier.
It's extremely rare that I'd buy a guitar without playing it, especially without even playing the model that I'm buying. I've also never owned or played a baritone guitar, so I was also concerned about the weight and the playability for someone used to standard guitars. Well all I can say is this has exceeded my expectations. There was lots of great communication through the buying/ordering process and the sound and playability of the Baritone DLX is exactly what I was hoping for. It also looks pretty damn cool! I had initially ordered the black and chrome but there was a problem with their overseas order so instead of waiting I went for their green burst. I'm kind of glad it worked out that way after all. Not sure if they are all this way but the green burst part is way more understated and less bright green than the photo online, which I love. I'd also say I was impressed and have enjoyed the Eastwood website and their whole vibe. It feels like a good company with quick responses to questions and just the right amount of communication and connection. Thanks Eastwood!
Hi, it is my favourite guitar, bariton sound, wow !
So nice, great response and original. I'm excited!
And so my main field is just keyboards ( organ, piano ).

I've always felt a bit cramped up with the typical scale length of most guitars. A friend said, "Try a baritone, John". As I guy who's on a budget but does not want to forego quality, I tried out many...
First, I have a Gretsch Electromatic that I love, so I tried their 'Jet' baritone, it was nice but the mini humbuckers just wouldn't work, then it was off to Danelectro - their '56' baritone was much closer, but too bright - my pinky was living on the tone knob.
Finally, I played an Eastwood 'Side Jack DLX', and I was amazed that you could get this much guitar at this price point. What sold me on it were the EW P-90' - so warm and so clear.
I know getting into the world of new or non-standard tuned guitars can be a daunting task.
Peace, and keep playing

I’m in love with this guitar! This is my first baritone and I’m so glad I decided on the Eastwood. The price point was perfect and I was pleasantly surprised with the build and quality. I don’t think you can get into a quality baritone at the price anywhere else. Not only am I happy with the guitar, but the customer service I received after my purchase was stellar. Not to mention the shipping speed was outrageous.. I wasn’t expecting to receive the guitar so quickly. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Looking forward to my next Eastwood purchase as soon as the guitar bug bites again. Thanks Eastwood!
Everything was great! There was a minor glitch - one of the stings was damaged during shipping - but I emailed Eastwood and they sent a replacement. Not a problem. And the guitar is super-cool, just what I was looking for. Sounds great, plays great, looks great. I’m sure I’ll be buying another one of their off-the-beaten-track instruments.
I liked the idea of adding a baritone to my collection. The green burst sealed the deal. It is a very cool looking guitar and sounds great. Unfortunately, it did not come "set-up" and that was a bit disappointing.
Great instrument for the price - honestly I was a bit wary about "made in China" instruments - so I went to McCabes in Santa Monica to try one of your regular Sidejacks (they didn't have any baris in stock) before ordering mine online, just to satisfy my concerns re the quality issue... and my only small complaint with mine is that the pickguard/electronics mounting plate is a tiny bit (but noticeably...) warped by the bridge pickup as a result of the screw holes in the body and those in the pickguard plate not being perfectly aligned... otherwise it would've gotten full stars - sounds great, looks cool and now I have a bari with a whammy bar (my 20 year old Danelectro bari - my only other bari - does not - tho' it does have a slightly longer (30') scale, which as a bassist/guitarist I actually like, and a double-octave fingerboard, which is also cool), so it really rounds out my collection - I"ve already (in only 4 wks) written 3 new tunes with it - a good instrument (for me at least) will inspire one to create something new - and this did just that!
I've played guitar for 56 years, but I've never had a baritone . . . until now! I love my Sidejack Baritone and it looks terrific. A bit of fret buzz, but not enough to spoil the fun. The Sidejack Baritone has opened new playing vistas for this old rocker!
I've tried a couple others and this is the best by a long shot! The fit and finish is just flawless and it was set up perfectly when I received it. The scale length is just right as opposed to some of the longer 28-30' necks on others. As someone who doesn't have huge hands, I can play chords and single notes just fine. It's one of those guitars that music just pours out of- every time I pick it up I end up writing something new. And how many guitars are available in Greenburst?!!?? Definitely...
I have mot paid for my guitar in full just yet, due to it being on back order for quite some time.
It is ready to ship and things have came my way causing me to have to pay it in installments.
I just want to say thanks for working with me to get it paid off!
I cannot wait to get it shipped and play it.
Thanks again for being patient.

The guitars I ended up with are spectacular - Between the Duocata, Mondata Baritone an Hooky Bass 6 Pro I have three absolutely outstanding instruments - They are 'mine,' and they are 'home.' When I pick them up they give me the same thrill as some of my best vintage instruments ever did. And that's saying something for a guy who's been through ~130 guitars since 1975. I may do some pickup/harness swaps, but these are incredibly high quality, wonderful players.
I do miss the SG, and tried out...
