Story
Backlund guitars are modern classics: bold, retro-futuristic designs that feel like they’ve traveled from another era. For years, fans of John Backlund’s visionary guitars could only admire them from afar. Now, through his collaboration with Eastwood Guitars, these extraordinary designs are finally within reach.
The Backlund Model 800 captures the familiar spirit of classic workhorses like the Strat and Tele, then launches them into uncharted territory. Sculpted lines, sweeping curves, and unmistakable Backlund styling combine with modern performance features including 24 frets, a Les Trem tremolo, and custom-wound pickups.
The result is a guitar that feels both timeless and futuristic: equally at home on today’s stage or in the 22nd century.
Now re-released in stunning Red-Creme and Black-Gold finishes!
